“With God, all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
Hi, Coach Brandy here.
SPEAKER_00Somewhere inside you, there is a dream that refuses to let go. A quiet whisper from God reminding you that your life has purpose. This is You Have a Dream Living with Purpose Podcast.
SPEAKER_01Hi, welcome to You Have a Dream Living with Purpose podcast. I'm Lori Coach Brandy. Um I'm excited to bring you a brand new season, and it's called Plant the Seed. And it's about, you know, trusting the process before you see the promise. Planting the seed, it takes patience, trust, and sometimes just silence. That's so true. Because faith in faith, growth doesn't start in the spotlight, right? It starts in the soil. Today's message is about trusting God's process. Even when nothing seems to be happening, there's always something happening. As long as you're moving towards it, there's always something happening. So I think many of us get frustrated when we don't see instant results, whether it's our purpose, our prayers, our personal growth, in a diet, working out, or you know, learning a new skill. But faith doesn't grow in visible places, it grows underground, it grows in here where you can't totally see it. And seeds need time in the dark before they break through. Just because it's not visible doesn't mean it's not valuable. Think about a seed. It's buried, hidden, unseen, but inside transformation is happening. And sometimes God hides us not to punish us, but to prepare us. So isn't that comforting? Because there are seasons where you just feel like nothing is moving. But Matt, maybe that's just your root season. So roots don't grow fast, do they? No, they don't. They grow deep. But that depth sustains your purpose when storms come, because they have to grow deep so they can be strong. So in Galatians 6 9, it says, Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not give up. So if you've been praying, sowing, believing, and you still don't see the fruit, this is your reminder, God is working beneath the surface. So let's um let's make something practical. Here are three ways to see faithful while you wait for your seed to grow. Step one, prepare your soil. Your mindset is the soil where your faith grows. Clear out the negativity, doubt, fear. They choke your roots. Ask God daily, Lord, keep my heart fertile for faith. Step two, water with the word. Faith grows by hearing, and hearing comes from the word of God, Romans 10, 17. Read, speak, and declare scripture over your dreams, like you're watering them every day. Use this in your daily check-in, like we talked about last week. Use it in your daily check-in. And just trust that God is moving. Because remember, I told you he loves little motion. Little motion. So you're gonna live, Lord, keep my heart fertile with faith. And you're gonna read and speak and declare scripture over your dreams. So like during your morning devotional, your morning um, your daily check-in, make sure that you are looking at your anchor, looking at your why. What movement can you do that day to reach towards that goal? Because remember, even whenever you're um opening a business or you're learning a new skill, you have to practice and practice and practice and practice and practice until you're any good, right? So as your goals, you set your goals, and then there are little goals underneath it that are small steps to reach your goal. So remember to water in the word. Now, step three, praise while you wait. Worship is the sunlight your seed needs. Praising before the breakthrough strengthened your spiritual roots. Go back to my playlist that I've created and listen to it. Worship, worship daily. Um there's some good songs out now. Um again, uh, World on Fire is just a good upbeat, happy song that I am just in love with. It's got such a great beat, you can even work out to it. So you're saying so. What I'm saying is when nothing changes, keep tending to your soil. Water it, make sure it's getting a lot of sunlight, you know, clear out all the negativity because you can't have negativity choking your roots. You've got to water with the word, you've got to praise while you wait. Because neglect kills more dreams than failure ever will. Faith doesn't mean ignoring reality though, it means trusting God's timing more than your own. So let's take a dream moment together, my guys, my peeps. I want to read from Mark 4, 26 through 29. This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. The verse gets me. I it gets me every time because you don't have to know the how. You just have to keep sowing. Right? You have to have faith to know that it's gonna grow and it's gonna take off. You don't know, you don't have to know the how. Watch for him. Our job is obedience, not the outcome. You plant, you water, and God brings the increase. And sometimes the smallest seeds, faith, kindness, consistency, grow into the biggest harvests. Like I said, you guys, you have to keep showing up, and you have to be keep showing kindness, you have to keep showing grace, you have to keep showing love, and that helps you grow. That does help you grow, and then you'll see the harvest because it seems to be spreading, right? So keep showing up, even when it's quiet, the soil is doing its job. For this week's challenge, I still want you to do the daily check-in, but I also want you to either go back to your visioning board and make one goal, one dream, or prayer that's been sitting dormant. Write down, write it down. Then write one small step you can take to plant this week. What do you need to plant that seed this week? One small step that you can take. Maybe it's sending an email, making a call, writing the vision, or simply praying over it again. I'd love to hear from you. Um share your story or what seed you're planning this week by emailing me at you have a dream.com, or you can go to also all the social media sites, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, I'm on all those, and I'm under You Have a Dream Living with Purpose. You can DM me on those. Your testimony might be encouraging to someone else who's in their season of planting. And if you'd like some personal guidance or cultivating your purpose, schedule a coaching session with me through the same email, or you can DM me on um social media sites, and I'd love to walk you through this next season because growth takes time, but purpose takes root when you nurture it daily. So let's speak this week's affirmation, and I want to do it together. I'm gonna read it to you and then I'm gonna let you repeat after me. I am planting seeds of purpose, faith and peace. I trust the process because God is working beneath the surface. I am planting seeds of purpose, faith and peace. I trust the process because God is working beneath the surface. Say it until you feel hope rise again. When you believe that your seed still has life, you give God permission to water it. Thank you for joining us today for You Have a Dream Living with Purpose, season five, plant the seed. Until next week, keep sowing, keep believing, and keep living with purpose. And remember, please go check out Folds of Honor. They are very close to my heart. Purpose isn't perfect, it's personal. Have a great week, Life Coach Brandy Outta here. Bye. Before we go, remember this. You have a dream, a dream that matters, a purpose that matters. And when you walk in faith and live with courage, that dream becomes a light for the world to see. Until next time, keep living with purpose. Be blessed.
