Hi, Coach Brandy here. Somewhere inside you, there is a dream that refuses to let go. A quiet whisper from God, reminding you that your life has purpose. This is You Have a Dream Living with Purpose Podcast. Welcome back to You Have a Dream Living with Purpose Podcast. I'm your host, Life Coach Brandy, and today's message is one of my favorites because it's where you bloom where you are planted. That means what season in the life we're in. And this topic always gives me peace. It's a reminder that God doesn't need perfect conditions to grow something that is beautiful in us. Sometimes we're waiting for the next big thing when God is asking us to be faithful right here. Because your purpose isn't on pause, it's planted in the present. We thrive in the season. We are in the means of activity, embracing and finding purpose in your present circumstances. So as you're sitting here presently and you're planted and you're growing your faith and you're growing your purpose. And it's sometimes a trial, and sometimes it's for growth. Rather than just waiting for the next phase, let's appreciate where we are right now. You know, the the this involves like shifting from a survival mindset to intentional living by nurturing and anchoring in our spiritual roots, finding joy in daily routines and adapting to change and growth. Because sometimes growth is hard and it's painful. So you know, we live in a culture that always is reaching for what's next. But if you're always chasing the next thing, you'll miss the beauty of now. Sometimes we think that growth can only happen once we arrive somewhere new, like a new job, a new city, a new relationship. But that's not true. God's been growing us all along. So growth doesn't wait for a new environment, it starts with a new mindset. So Philippians 4 11 says, I have learned to be content, whatever the circumstances. Contentment isn't settling, it's stewarding, it's saying, God, even if this isn't where I thought I'd be, I trust that you're still working here. To flourish, we need to embrace the season and we need to stop focusing on when the season will end and instead squeeze out the purpose in it. We're gonna squeeze out what we're supposed to be learning from this season and growing from this season, and just know that God's timing is always perfect. So we need to be stepping in, you know, we need to be stepping each stone, like I've told you before, we're crossing a river, stepping each stone for growth. Stay connected to your faith, even when God is quiet, He is moving in our favor. So, you know, um that's so freeing because when we stop fighting our season, we start flourishing in it. So you can bloom in the middle of a transition, in the middle of waiting, in the middle of healing. The soils, the soil you're in right now is still holy ground. Where you are is where God can meet you. Not once things are perfect, but now as who you are. So as we're focusing on uh where we are now, we need to identify our rhythms. This continues on with what we've been talking about in this season. Manage your routines, mindful prayer, reading God's word, and gratitude, lots of gratitude. Find something that matches your current energy, especially when our daily life is busy and sometimes chaotic. You need to trust the shift. We need to accept that some of this will be uncomfortable. It'll be uncomfortable in some of our relationships, in our environments. They can signal a necessary transition to a new, better season. Growth is not always comfortable. You also need to slow and sow, slow and sow good seeds, even in dry or difficult seasons, or you know, because sometimes our soil gets dry in our in our faith, in our closeness to God, because life does get chaotic, chaotic. But sometimes we just need to slow our roll and take that time, that self-care time, 10-15 minutes in the morning or 10-15 minutes before you go to bed, to have your time with God, to grow your faith. So we need to intentionally sow positivity and faith through your actions and to prepare you for a future harvest. Similar to um the Apostle Paul, learning to be content in all circumstances, including want or hardship, is a valuable skill developed over time. You have to trust the process. Um, difficult times are not intended to break you, but are often tests that lead you to personal growth or to learn a lesson so you do grow and learn from that mistake. Learning to trust God's timing rather than your own. So let's go into the little um coaching. I'm gonna talk about three ways to bloom where you're planted. So step one is see value in your season. And again, this is what is God teaching me here. Even if the soil feels hard, there's still purpose beneath it, and this is where um we need to understand that it's not our timing, it's God's timing, and so this is where you learn patience and you learn to be content as you are growing in your faith and as you are growing as a person, and so, like I said, it it sometimes will be uncomfortable, and sometimes some relationships will you will see changes in relationships, and it doesn't always mean that they're gonna be bad, you're gonna see relationships grow and see that because you are growing as a person, they are also gonna grow as a person. So just being grateful and understand that the season you're in is where you need to be, it's intentional because God never puts anything in our plate that we can't handle, and sometimes when we stress over stuff that we shouldn't stress over and we hand it over to God, it resolves itself. So you just have to be patient and grateful and find joy daily in the season that you're in. So, step two is be faithful in small things. This means doing small daily tasks, like I've said, we're gonna repeat a lot of this because I want you to understand daily tasks um with excellence and care and integrity, trusting that um it's gonna build character and it's gonna lead to greater opportunities. Focus on your positivity, focus on finding the beauty in the present and developing an attitude that flourishes. Because as I say, if you're always thinking negative, only you're putting it out into the world, negativity, so it's gonna come right back to you. So remember, if you if you set out daily to today's gonna be a good day, and I'm gonna get this done, and I'm gonna pray to God to walk with me through the day and lead me to where I need to be for his plan and to where I need to be to maybe water somebody else's, you know, fill somebody else's bucket, water somebody else, because as you're watering, what you're putting out there comes right back to you. So if, like I said, if you're negative, then negativity is gonna happen to you, and so that's why I wake up every morning, do my Bible verse, pray to God, and I always tell myself, this is gonna be a good day, I am going to be in the path of somebody that needs to come into contact with me, and I'm always aware, I always look around, and I I always I'm people probably think I'm I'm crazy, but listen, what you put out there, you get back. So I walk through stores with a smile on my face, and I say, Hi, how are you doing to everybody? And like I said, they probably think that I am some crazy lady, but I'm putting it out there that I see you, you are important. Do you understand what I mean? So don't wait to feel ready to start. If you're in a season of waiting, use it to build discipline, gratitude, and grace. Luke 1610 reminds us faithfulness in little leads to faithfulness in much. Faithfulness in little leads to faithfulness in much. So step three, water others while you grow. So, like I just said, we're gonna water others while we grow. You're nurturing your own growth, use your talents and spiritual gifts to water others by positively impacting your family, friends, community, even your workplace. Encourage someone, even while you're still waiting for your breakthrough. Serving shifts your focus and strengths, strengthens. I'm sorry, it strengthens your roots because you're growing in your faith. And so you're also, you know, you're focusing on others as well. So you're putting it out, but you're also taking care of yourself. So your roots are your your groots, your roots are growing strong and deep. And so because you're helping others bloom, often that helps us bloom too, because joy multiplies. But before we continue, it's time to take a dream moment. Take a breath for just a second. Think about the dream that's been placed in your heart. Maybe it's something big, maybe it's something quiet that only you and God know. But if that dream is still there, it's there for a reason. So keep walking in faith, keep taking the next step, and trust purpose grows one day at a time. Now, let's get back to the episode. All right, so let's take a dream moment together. Jeremiah 17, 7, 8 says, Blessed the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by water that seeds out its roots by the stream. And that's one of my favorite verses because it reminds us that roots bring resilience. Even in the land, even if the landscape changes, your source, God, never runs dry. You are connected to the ultimate source because bloomies isn't about location, it's about connection. So even in this, if the season feels dry or uncertain, you shall be nourished by his presence. You can bloom through grace, through faith, through surrender, faithfulness. We need to focus on staying faithful by continuing our daily connections to God as our spiritual and personal growth can be difficult. We can grow in God's love and bloom by serving right where we are. Treating every day as a chance to be God's servant. What specific challenge or weeds are you facing right now? Are you struggling more with finding joy? Are you struggling with prayer? I've got a simple one for you. You can do the Lord's Prayer, you know, our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespassed against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Or this one's even better. I learned this one over Lent. Empty me. Empty me of all the negativity, all the evil, all the wrongdoing. Just empty me. And then fill me with joy, grace, gratitude, love, and use me. Use me where you need me. Use me as the light that people see. Just use me. So here's our challenge for the week. Write down one area of your life where you've been waiting for a better season, then ask God to show you how you can bloom right now. Maybe it's gratitude, creativity, forgiveness, or service.
