“With God, all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
Hi, Coach Brandy here. Somewhere inside you, there is a dream that refuses to let go. A quiet whisper from God reminding you that your life has purpose. This is You Have a Dream Living with Purpose Podcast. Hi peeps. I'm Life Coach Brandy, and this is You Have a Dream Living with Purpose. Welcome to the episode called Rooted and Radiant. This episode is all about shining without burning out, blooming without forgetting your roots, and trusting that peace and purpose can grow together. Yes, we have spent this season, this last six weeks, talking about joy, presence, and faith, and now it's time to anchor it all. You were created to shine, but your glow is strongest when it comes from a place of grounding. Staying grounded in faith while shining with joy and authenticity root your identity in Christ rather than your external circumstances. It is about letting genuine relationship, not religious performance, dictate your daily walk and allow you to radiate God's place, God's peace with transparency and heartfelt purpose. Make your prayers transparent. Talk to God just as you would a close friend. Share your honest struggles, questions, joys, and gratitude. Anchor in truth, center your mind and daily calling by immersing yourself in Scripture, which should which sustains you when life gets tough and overwhelming. Live authentically. Allow yourself to be real with God and others. Authentic faith means acknowledging your weaknesses and allowing God to be glorified through your authenticity. Remember your healthy boundaries. They protect your energy by living intentionally, ensuring you aren't completely drained before showing up for your loved ones. Let your joy be your strength. Recognize that joy is not about toxic positivity, but rather an enduring, unshakable trust in God's unchanging love, strength, and nurturing. Focus on the eternal shift, your perspective to your promises of the kingdom of God, leaning into a steadfastness that yields inexpressible joy. And Galatians 1:10 relates that. I will read it later. So when you're rooted in faith, you're unshakable. Life may test you, but you've been. You don't break. Your roots are your values, your prayer life, your boundaries, and your trust in God's plan. And sometimes being rooted means saying no. You can't grow in every direction at once. God plants you where purpose can flourish, not where people expect you to be. So staying rooted in faith provides a firm, unshakable foundation. When you are deeply anchored in Christ, you no longer feel the need to perform or seek external validation. This quiet confidence allows your true authentic self to shine naturally, producing genuine joy. Living genuinely means your identity is firmly placed in God's love, not in the fluctuating standards of the world. Overflowing with joy. The deeper your connection with Christ, the more your life will reflect his peace and overflow with thankfulness. What keeps your life grounded when life gets overwhelming? With me, what keeps me grounded is my morning routine, my daily self-reflection, what my goals are for the day, my time in scripture, my time in prayer, and my time journaling. Because that's where I write what my goals are for the day, and how I ask God that this be a great day and put in my path the people that I'm meant to meet with, show kindness, show love, show love, and just show up and be available and authentic with anybody that I come into contact each day. So that's what keeps me grounded, even when life is overwhelming. Because, you know, I am a teacher, so um when my life gets overwhelming, I again start my day in prayer and try to know that okay, these are the students I'm meeting with today. Let me be available to them and their needs and what they need from me that day. And so sometimes it gets overwhelming because like this time of the year, um, we're busy doing our um learning plans for the students because we visualize their learning, and so we look at what works best, and so before I go into those meetings, I say a prayer and have myself show up authentically and intentionally to make this year a good education year for that student and how they need me to show up for them weekly, daily, or whatever they need from me. So that's so when it gets overwhelming, you just have to take a moment, and like I've said, if you get overwhelmed during the day, take three deep breaths, center yourself, align yourself again, and then move forward. It usually takes the stress away from you, and you're able to get back to work without being so stressed and overwhelmed. You know what I mean? So radiance isn't about appearance, it's about presence. It's the peace that shines from someone who knows who they are and whose they are. You glow differently when your joy isn't dependent on circumstances. Radiance is like the overflow of inner alignment. It it's what happens when your heart is at peace and your faith is alive. And so it it just glow you just glow. So our radiance within creating this is where we need to create a healthy balance between mental peace and physical nourishment. You can use your natural glow through your daily self-care, mindfulness, mindfulness, proper hydration, and science-backed nutrition that supports cellular health. Um NMN is a very good supplement. I have been taking it for almost three months now, and I've noticed that my eyes aren't so dark. And you if you're seeing this on video, or if you see my videos on Facebook, you see that the darkness that was around my eyes is not there anymore. Um my wrinkles seem to be disappearing, and um I have more energy, and I don't I don't know how it works. I mean, it helps with focus, it helps with um eyes as we get older because my eyesight on some days it's horrible, and on some days it's really good. But since I've been taking the NMN, my eyesight seems to be um I'm able to focus better, and that still doesn't mean that I don't need my glasses, because I still need my glasses, I still need my readers, I still need my like when I drive I wear sunglasses that have my prescription in them so I'm able to see because I am nearsighted. So the things far away, they're blurry, but I don't like the way now I don't hardly drive at night, but nighttime driving is it drives me completely crazy because the lights, the new LED lights are just so bright, they're like blinding sometimes. But I I mean they they help us see better. So there's you know positives and negatives with everything, but they do help us see better at night. And I live in a phone, so we have lots of deer that tend to run out on the road. I've hit a deer before, and so it helps you because it widens your view, so thoroughly a positive. Um, so your inner peace, your pursuit to your inner radiance and peace generally encompasses encompasses like a few areas. So let's talk about those. Mindfulness and stress relief. Deep breathing and morning gratitude significantly lowers physical tension and mental fatigue. So, like I've said, in your morning, um deep breathing, uh this you inhale and then you exhale like as I stutter. You inhale, and where you feel the tension, when you exhale, release that tension. And you know, I've told you that journaling I I usually write what I'm grateful for, and then I write my goals, and um and write my intentions for the day. And so when you wake up with a grateful heart, that sets the tone for the whole day. So your morning routine should encompass something that uh resets you after you've had a good night's sleep. It resets you, and you can set your intentions for the day and how you want the day to look. So that always helps. So mindfulness and stress relief, those are a big morning routine so you can walk with pride and walk with confidence once you relieve that stress, or just give that stress over to God in your morning prayer. I usually say I hold stress different I hold stress in my shoulders and in my neck, and um it's subconscious, so I tell God whatever I am stressing about subconsciously, please take that and relieve me from my stress in my neck and my shoulders, and so embrace your worth. You are enough, you are amazing. So releasing self self quit talking negative negatively to yourself, know your worth, know that you are amazing, and that you are unique and you're special, and God created you just the way you are. You're special. Don't compare yourself, like I said, don't compare yourself to the children, and let your natural daily confidence shine through. So we need to walk with confidence because we are amazing. And you are amazing, you are unique, and you bring your light to the world. So let's go into our um guided reflection after this dream. Before we continue, it's time to take a dream moment. Take a breath for just a second. Think about the dream that's been placed in your heart. Maybe it's something big, maybe it's something quiet, that only you and God know. But if that dream is still there, it's there for a reason. So keep walking in faith, keep taking the next step and rest one day at a time. Now let's get back to that. Welcome back. So I told you that I would uh read to you Galatians 110. And it is. Am I trying to win the approval of human beings or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. So that is telling you, we're not here to please people. We're here to please Christ and God. So if we do everything and live authentically and intentionally and not worry about what other people think, then that's living pure joy, pure peace, and that way your light can shine. So I urge you to close your eyes, picture your feet planted firmly on the ground, strong, steady, and safe. Now imagine light rising from your heart, glowing brighter with every breath. Whisper. I am rooted in peace and radiant in purpose. Let that warmth spread through your body. You are grounded in grace and glowing with divine light. I am rooted in peace and radiant in purpose. You're anchored securely, feigned physically and emotionally present. Are you rooted in peace? You're calm, and it is unshakable, drawing from a deep foundation based on faith, your strength, and clarity. Are you radiant in your purpose? Your unique path and mission glow outward, guiding you both in your daily actions and the way you connect with others. Ways to anchor this intention? Write it down. I am rooted in peace and radiant in purpose. Places on sticky notes where you'll see it daily on your refrigerator, on your desk at work, on your mirror in the morning when you're brushing your teeth. Read it. Put it on your um lock screen on your phone or on your computer. And your morning breath work. Inhale deeply, imagining your energy move all over your body. Exhale any exhale any attention while visualizing your goals. Alright, so let's grab our journals. Let me grab mine. Here we go. Alright, so grab your journal and let's reflect. What roots keep me steady when life shifts? How do I shine light in the spaces around me? How can I stay radiant without overextending myself? Your radiance is not something you perform, it's something you embody. Stay grounded in your truth and let your light do the talking. So you've seen people that like light up a room whenever they walk in. That's their light showing, that's their radiance, that's their glow. They're grounded in their truth. And we need to do the same. So I try to do that. And you should also, you should be the light that brightens the room when you walk in. Because you are amazing and you are wonderful. And God loves you, and I love you. Alright, so your positive affirmation is kind of the same. We're staying on the same thing. I am rooted in faith and radiant in purpose. My light blesses the world. Embracing this mindset empowers you to be a beacon of positivity and strength. Living with purpose allows you to anchor yourself against life's unpredictable moments. And you know we have unpredictable moments all the time. And this is also while you're having unpredictable moments, you're still spreading hope, light, and encouragement to those in your immediate community. So deepen your sense of grounding through prayer and positive affirmations. Translate your faith into action by participating in faith-based community groups. We have a community on Facebook, on Instagram, and on TikTok. Join those communities. I come to you daily with positive affirmations, positivity, devotionals, a thing called an affirmator, and sprinkles of joy for you. So if you join that, you can do that.
