Hi, Coach Brandy here. Somewhere inside you, there is a dream that refuses to let go. A quiet whisper from God reminding you that your life has purpose. This is You Have a Dream Living with Purpose podcast. Hi peeps, life coach Brandy here. Welcome to You Have a Dream, Living with Purpose. This is Seeds of Intention episode. Today we're beginning where all purpose begins. And that's with intention. Intention is that sacred space between dream and doing. It's a decision to align your thoughts and actions and faith with your greater purpose. Or as I like to say, your life's purpose. But it's your life's purpose. Seeds of intention are guiding thoughts, values, and directional focuses we plant in our minds and in our faith. They're like the seeds in the soul. We have been talking about this for a while. It is important in shifting our focus from those rigid goals to mindful, ongoing personal growth in our faith and in our purpose. So you can choose an intentional goal for each week. For instance, kindness, grace, gratitude, thoughtfulness, patience, rest, and maybe even your faithfulness. We need to let go of those strict guidelines and allow your inner change to grow naturally and intentionally over time. When you set an intention, you're not just hoping for change. You are directing your energy with purpose. God honors clarity. Intention is how you tell the universe and your creator, I'm ready to move. The most powerful intentions are simple. You don't need perfect words, just truth. Today I choose peace. I choose to walk in purpose. Most little seeds grow big fruit when planted in faith. The power of intention is the practice of consciously directing your thoughts, energy, and even your choices towards a specific way of being, transforming you from a passive idea into an active co-creator of your life. While goals hope while goals focus strictly on future outcomes, intentions focus on your alignment and mindset in the present moment. Remember, we're enjoying the journey. How this works, it rallies focus, it primes your brain, reticular activating system to spot resources and opportunities you might otherwise just miss. It just would pass you by if you weren't living intentionally and you weren't focusing. It shifts your energy. It changes your underlying motivation from fear or lack to growth and abundance. It guides choices. It acts as an internal compass, making daily decisions clearer and more aligned with your core values. It builds resilience by keeping you anchored in your purpose, even when external circumstances become chaotic, and you know life can do that. So have a daily activation. We've talked about this every day, where you have a morning reflection moment or you know, setting your intentions for the day. So morning alignment, state your intention even before you check your phone. Mindful transitions. This is a new one that I want you to try. So when you're transitioning from one task to another, reset your focus for one minute between your tasks. Evening reflection, review your day based on how well you lived intentionally. So let's take a reflection moment. Ask yourself what do I want my life to reflect in the season I'm in right now? You don't see results immediately, do you? Start with a tiny microhabit. The natural process of growth over time. Define your purpose. Right. Clarify your vision. Decide on one core feeling, word, or goal that you want to nurture. Start small. Create a microhabit that feels too easy to fail. Like taking three deep breaths. I've told you, when you're feeling anxious, take three deep breaths. Make that a tiny microhabit. Or writing a sentence a day about your intention. So when you're feeling like it's chaos around you, take those three deep breaths. Inhale, hold it, and exhale. Attach it to your routine. Link your timing action to an existing daily habit. For instance, your morning coffee. Try those deep breaths while you're drinking your morning coffee, or maybe writing a sentence in your journal. Beneath the surface, just as you would trust a seed growing underground. Before we continue, it's time to take a dream moment. Take a breath for just a second. Think about the dream that's been placed in your heart. Maybe it's something big, maybe it's something quiet that only you and God know. But if that dream is still there, it's there for a reason. So keep walking in faith, keep taking the next step, and trust purpose grows one day at a time. Now, let's get back to the episode. Welcome back, peeps. Seeds of intention are the inner thoughts and core desires you plant within your heart and mind. They act as a quiet compass for how you live and how you grow. Just a physical seed hidden in the dark of the earth. An intention starts at the unseen parts of your inner life before it blooms into your daily life, actions, and even your outer reality. Take a deep breath. Close your eyes. Picture a seed in your hand, small but full of life. Whisper to yourself, This is my season to plant faith. See yourself placing that seed in reach, in rich, dark soil, soil of trust, prayer, and action. Now smile, knowing your harvest is already forming. The inner soul, inner soil is in your mind, which is the ground where thought take root. Meaning, positive focus, nature's happiness, while negative or harsh thoughts foster stress. Direction over your destination. Unlike rigid goals that fixate on the final outcome. An intention guides us to show up and move through life each day and enjoy the journey as we reach our goals. Trust the process. Growth takes quiet, invisible time beneath the surface, requiring patience and self-compassion rather than forced control. How do you cultivate intentions? Keep it simple. I said previously, choose a word, a short phrase, or a core truth that reflects what you want to nurture. Plant your seed with care. Imagine holding that desire in your hand and gently placing it into your mind's fertile ground during a moment of quiet reflection. Then water it daily. Support your inner seed through mindful habits, kind choices, and returning to your purpose whenever you feel distracted. Alright, let's grab our journals. Open your journal and let's reflect. What intention do I want to plant this season? What action will I water that seed with? Or what will you water that seed? How will you water it? What distractions do I need to release to stay focused? Your journal is your garden, right as if you are growing something sacred. Because you are you. Your journal is a sacred patch, and it's of dark earth where truth, your truth, takes root. Quiet thoughts sprout green shoots and deep feelings bloom into light. Clear those hard rocks of fear from your mind. Turn the heavy soil with slow, honest breaths. Drop your rawest words deep into that quiet dark. Feed the page with your tears of grief and drops of joy. Let gentle rain of grace soften your hard habits. Protect your fragile new ideas from harsh winds. Stand back and watch the green push, green life push its way upward. Pick the sweet fruit of wisdom when it's ripe. Leave those wild weeds to die back into the earth. So your positive affirmation for this week. I plant my intentions with faith and nurture them with prayer and purpose. Every thought I align grows into something beautiful. This is the most powerful affirmation that I found. It is powerful and mindset focused on growth, positive energy and self-care. Let me tell it to you again.
