Hi, Coach Brandy here. Somewhere inside you, there is a dream that refuses to let go.

SPEAKER_01

A quiet whisper from God reminding you that your life has purpose. This is You Have a Dream Living with Purpose Podcast. Hi peeps. Welcome back to You Have a Dream Living with Purpose. And I'm your host, Coach Brandy. Today's episode, Patience in Process, is a reminder that not all growth is visible and that divine timing is always perfect. So many of us want the harvest right away, but patience is the bridge between your prayer and your promise. God isn't denying you, He's developing you. Trusting divine timing means letting go of your strict deadlines. It is the belief that delays are not denials. It is a now is not the perfect time. When you cultivate peace, it requires you to stop fighting the clock and start seeing the pause as space to grow. When you release control, God's timing is not earthly time. You still have lessons He still wants you to learn. And grow from. And remember, God's timing is the perfect time. When you reframe the delay, you see the wait as preparation rather than punishment. When you are expecting growth, this is when you recognize that inner maturity happens when life slows down. Waiting can feel like a process, but it's actually preparation. Each delay, every quiet season is refining your strength and shaping your readiness for what's coming next. If you rush the process, you risk missing lessons. You risk missing relationships. You risk missing opportunities. And patience doesn't mean doing nothing. It means trusting while you keep showing up. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep moving. Even when progress feels slow. The true purpose in waiting is transformation. Becoming your true authentic self. Waiting is not wasted time. It is preparation. It is the necessary gap between the moment you ask for something and the moment you are actually strong enough, wise enough, or ready enough to handle it. So I call this the four P's of pause, the hidden value of in the pause. Protection. It keeps you from entering a situation or relationship before it's safe. Preparation. This is when you strengthen your skills, character, and emotions for what lies ahead. Purification. This is the time when you clear out old habits, old mindsets, wrong motivations, and distractions. Perspective. This deepens you and your wisdom and understanding by teaching you to value what you are waiting for. Enjoying your journey. So ask yourself, what is this season really trying to teach me? When you trust God's timing, peace replaces pressure. You don't have to force what's meant for you. It will come when it's supposed to. Patient grows, peace. When you learn to be content in the progress and the process, your waiting turns into worship. You begin to see the beauty in becoming your authentic self and living your purpose. Trusting the timing is an internal shift that's needed. Shift from passive to active. Don't just kill time. We have to take an active role in our growth and in our purpose and use this time to build yourself up. Shift from anxiety to trust. Believe that a delay means a better aligned outcome is coming. Shift your future to the present so instead of always thinking about the future, shift your focus to the present. Focus on mastering your current environment instead of escaping it. We are enjoying the journey, not waiting for everything to drop in our laps. That's not how it works. Elbow grease and intentionality are what it takes. When we are trusting the timing, that requires a firm belief that what belongs to you will not pass you by. It means resting in the fact that you cannot rush a harvest that is still meant to grow. When you stop fighting the current place in your life, you save energy for the things that you control. Why timing matters? Foundation building. Quick success without a strong foundation usually crumbles fast. Excuse me. Don't you want a strong foundation when you build a house? Don't you want a strong foundation in every relationship that you have? So why would you want quick success if you don't have the foundation? It'll crumble. Just like relationships without a good foundation, it crumbles. Or a house without a good foundation, it starts to crumble. So then you go into invisible alignment. Pieces are moving behind the scenes that you cannot yet see. Perfect matching, the right opportunity, requires both you and the situation to be ready at the exact same time. Before we continue, it's time to take a dream moment. Take a breath for just a second. Think about the dream that's been placed in your heart. Maybe it's something big, maybe it's something quiet that only you and God know. But if that dream is still there, it's there for a reason. So keep walking in faith, keep taking the next step, and trust. Purpose grows one day at a time. Now, let's get back to the episode. Welcome beep. Welcome back. Let's go into our guided reflection. The waiting garden. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath. Picture yourself standing in a quiet garden. The soil is damp, full of promise. The seeds are planted, but nothing has yet bloomed. Now whisper, I trust the process. Feel peace settle over you as you realize growth is happening beneath the surface. When you whisper, I trust the process, that declaration is a powerful shift in mindset. It moves you from a place of resistance to a position of profound inner strength and peace. You are choosing to believe and to have faith that the current situation is working for you, not against you. Jeremiah 29, 11 says, For I know the plans I have for you, declared the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. What your trust changes, it saves you energy, you stop wasting mental strength fighting things that you cannot change or you cannot control. It also invites clarity, a calm mind, it sees opportunities that an anxious mind completely misses. It builds resilience. You prove to yourself that you can handle uncertainty without breaking. It deepens your peace. Your joy is no longer tied to a specific date on the calendar. The secret to keeping the trust alive, speak it daily. Repeat, I trust the process. Document your journey. Write small signs of peace or growth along the way. Like I've said, your journal is an opportunity for you to see your growth as it goes daily, and so you start to appreciate and know that you're seeing signs of your growth, that you're becoming your true authentic self as you are living intentionally to become your true authentic self and live your life's purpose. Protect your space. Limit time with people or social media pressure. Everybody else has their own journey. This is your journey. Don't compare it to anybody else. This is a beautiful, profound truth. And it transforms it from a simple book of thoughts and dreams into a living record of your resilience. Your affirmation for this week. I am patient, present, and prepared. My waiting is not wasted. Use this affirmation as a powerful baseline for this season of your life. Standing firmly in faith in all those truths. Someone who is anxious, anxiously enduring a delay.
